Director & Founder

Bloom Rhythms founder Katherine (Kat) McLeod has been working and creating with women for over twenty years.

Originally trained in education and theatre – she founded a successful performing arts business in Singapore that spanned over two decades.  Working globally and hiring artists from multiple corners of the world – Katherine is an experienced performance and program director.

As she began her perimenopausal shift, she started to deepen her meditation and yoga practices.  She completed her teacher training in both, plus began her journey into fibre and textile arts – studying with multiple artists on and offline.  All the while – she worked steadily on her central passions - storytelling, theatre, and facilitating women’s drum circles.

A health crisis in her early fifties led Katherine to an enormous shift.  It was a blessing in disguise.  She was given the gift of time to slow down and prioritize self-care, family relationships, and facilitating women to grow inwards.

She believes that health and wellbeing is a continuous journey.  We’re never done with it.  That’s the exciting part.  Practice doesn’t make perfect.  It helps us get to know and connect with ourselves.  And in turn, connect more deeply with those around us.

Today - Katherine’s meditation and drumming classes continue to be filled with vibrant learning and laughter.  Bloom Rhythms is an extension of her own personal growth, plus the inspiring collaboration with an incredible team of other healers and artists who all share the same dedication to daily practice and continued expansion.

When we create and collaborate, our potential to bloom and grow becomes ceaseless.  The new arises with ease.  And we see the potential in all relationships.
